Dallas

An estimated 3,000 people marched and rallied outside Dallas City Hall on October 15, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. The march was held in response to the ongoing bombardment of Gaza by the U.S.-backed Israeli military and in opposition to the Dallas City Council’s resolution of “unequivocal support for Israel” passed earlier in the week.

Washington, D.C.

On November 4, 2023, a contingent of Filipinos and Filipino Americans mobilized alongside 300,000 people for the “National March on Washington for a Free Palestine” from Farragut Square to Freedom Plaza, making it the largest mobilization for Palestine in U.S. history. The “Filipinos for Palestine” contingent amplified the demands for an end to the siege on Gaza and a cessation of all U.S. foreign military aid to Israel.

“As Filipinos, we know what it’s like to struggle against foreign occupation and domination, what it is like to fight for national liberation across generations. Philippine and Palestinian liberation are inextricably linked because we have a common enemy. So let us rise up and link arms across our movements and build anti-imperialist solidarity,” said Nina, Secretary General of BAYAN USA.
